Built in 1925 as the bowling club pavilion, La Petite Petanque is perched on the side of the manicured lawn of the Alexandra Bowling Green. This unique restaurant still has many of the original features, including the Parquet flooring, Art Deco iron-work shutters and Crittall windows and doors. The setting, decor and homemade food combine to make the perfect location to meet friends and loved ones and enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or an evening meal.
Set in the heart of the community of the conservation area in Cambridge Square, we like to think that we bring a little slice of Petite sunshine whatever the weather. On Friday and Saturday evenings the restaurant transforms into a cultural hub and candle lit dining experience with specially designed menus and events with local artists, authors, and musicians.
